Servus Intralogistics, Dornbirn, Austria – developer and manufacturer of the first autonomous and intelligent transport robot – and Artschwager und Kohl Software GmbH, Herzogenaurach, Germany – manufacturer of IT and automation solutions for production plants – have agreed on a cooperation. The cooperation combines the competencies of both companies.
Servus Intralogistics is a pioneer in the production of decentralised shuttle systems. These enable the construction of highly flexible production facilities in the manufacturing industry. The major advantage of the Servus system is its high flexibility and easy adaptability to changing market requirements. Servus supplies customised solutions for all areas of internal logistics, a single system for automated small parts warehouses, order picking and assembly automation from goods receipt, the warehouse and order picking to assembly, inspection stations and outgoing goods. This means that the customer can eliminate interfaces, increase throughput and minimise the capital tied up in the processes. Valuable space can also be saved by installing the tracks just below the ceiling.
Artschwager und Kohl Software is a specialist for the planning and creation of IT and automation solutions for production plants. The customer especially benefits from modern web-based portal solutions and mobile applications. The company contributes its special expertise in the field of operating system development and its long experience in software development for customer-specific systems.
The cooperation aims to develop an integrated control system as well as a series of software agents that optimally support the specific needs of the newly developed Servus ARC3 transport robots. The cooperation also serves the customer-specific planning and commissioning of Servus systems for production plants.
The end customer benefits from a highly innovative overall solution from a single source.
